Nemours Children's Health Run & Walk - Wilmington
This family-friendly event takes place on the grounds of Nemours Estate in Wilmington, Delaware on 10/18/2026. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a One Mile Fun Run.

The course winds through Versailles-inspired formal gardens, passing fountains, towers, and monuments. Runners, walkers, rollers, and wheelchair athletes of all ages may participate. Individuals and teams are included in the event format.
Proceeds support the Nemours Children's Compassionate Care Fund, which restores the health of critically ill and injured children wherever the need is greatest.
Participants can use the Runner’s Village, which features music from a DJ, sponsor booths, a VIP Kid Zone with games and inflatables, mascots, photo opportunities, and food and refreshments. All 5K and Fun Run registrants will receive a commemorative race shirt and a finisher’s medal. Organizers expect about 1,000 runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes, and their supporters to attend.
