Nelson Police Memorial Run/Walk
This community sporting event takes place at Lakeside Park in Nelson, British Columbia. It brings together runners, walkers, families, and supporters to honour the lives of police officers Detective Wade Tittemore and Constable Mathieu Nolet. Funds raised support a scholarship awarded to a deserving student at LV Rogers.
Several distances are offered:
- 1K : A fun run for kids.
- 5K : A run or walk course along the waterfront.
- 10K : A run with rolling hills, finishing with a fast, flat section. This distance is chip-timed.
