Run Like A Mother offers three race distances in Nelson this May. Registration is limited to 500 runners with early bird pricing available. Kit pickup is held the day before the event.

Run Like A Mother 2026

The Run Like A Mother event takes place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, in Nelson, British Columbia, at 417 Baker St. Registration is capped at 500 entrants.

Three distances are offered:

21 km (half marathon) for participants aged 16 and over.
10 km for participants aged 11 and over.
5 km for participants aged 7 and over.

Registration fees vary by period. For the 21 km, early bird pricing is $55.76 (October 1 to February 28) and regular pricing is $66.49 (March 1 to May 3). For the 10 km, early bird is $45.03 and regular is $55.76. For the 5 km, early bird is $28.93 and regular is $34.29.

Race kit pickup is on Friday, May 8, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Nelson Rotary Shelter in Lakeside Park. There is no pickup on the morning of the race.
