Course Routes
Two distances are offered: a 10 km route and a 15 km route. Both courses start and finish at the Hummingbird Lodge.
- 10 km: Runners ascend via the White Queen West Ridge Trail and descend via the Silver King Trail. The route has 550 meters of elevation gain.
- 15 km: Runners continue past the 10 km turn-off, tackling the West Ymir Trail and Prospector Trail before descending via the Summit Trail. This route has 865 meters of elevation gain.
Event Information
The event takes place in the alpine, starting from Whitewater Mountain Resort. The minimum age to participate is 19. This is a cupless event; participants must bring their own bottle to refill at water stations. No refunds are available for confirmed registrations.
On-site accommodation is available at the Hummingbird Forest or RV Campground, with amenities including power hookups, showers, an indoor dishwashing station, and flush toilets. Post-race music and a barbecue are planned. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
