NEF 5K Run/Walk - San Antonio, Texas

The NEF 5K Run/Walk takes place on May 2, 2026 at Northwest Vista College, 3535 N Ellison Drive, San Antonio, TX 78251. The event includes an official 5 km course (3.1 miles) run or walk on local streets. The route is stroller-friendly; skates, scooters and bikes are not permitted. Dogs are not allowed except for service animals.

Kids run ages 6 to 10, 0.5 mile

Participants can choose chip timing for the 5K for an additional fee. Finisher medals are awarded to the first 1600 finishers. Awards for chip timed runners include overall male and female plus 1st through 3rd in age-group categories starting at 15 and under and continuing by decade up to 70 and older.

Packet pick up is available at campus pick up locations or at the Northside Education Foundation during the days before the race. Adult and youth registration tiers are published with deadlines and race day pricing; participant shirts are optional and the organizer will place the shirt order on April 16, 2026 with no extras ordered afterward.
