Nebraska Marathon
The Nebraska Marathon takes place in Papillion, NE on September 5, 2026, with start and finish at Werner Park. The event includes multiple chip timed distances and is a USATF certified Boston qualifying course that runs alongside Prairie Queen Lake. All distances are on paved road or paved trail.

Race services and logistics include packet pickup by mail for a fee, a pre‑event pickup location at Dick’s Sporting Goods on the day before the race, and an on‑site pickup option on race morning that may involve a short wait. There is no gear check on site. Water stations provide water at all distances; marathon and half marathon stations also offer sport drinks and marathon stations include GU energy gels. Course time limits are published for each distance.
Finish line provisions include finisher medals for all finishers, winner medals for the top three male and female finishers in each age group and overall in chip timed categories, free digital photos when available, ice cream, and a live band. Pacers are provided for goal times in the marathon and half marathon. A virtual run option is available and virtual participant gear is typically mailed 1 to 4 days before the event.
