The event is a fully licensed and officially measured 5K held on the paved paths around Queen's Park in Chesterfield. The course is multi-lap and undulating, run on road and pavement surfaces, and offers a cash prize of £100 for any male or female who breaks the course record. Current course records are 00:14:59 for men and 00:17:03 for women.
Entries are limited to a maximum of 150 participants and entry closes on 21/08/2026. Minimum age for entry is 11 years. Transfers are permitted up to two days before the event.
Numbers are collected on the night at the Pavilion. Entry fees are listed as £5.00 for affiliated runners and £6.00 for unattached runners.
