NDRC & Run Forest Summer Series : Summer Series 5K (21 August 2026)
The Summer Series 5K is a fully licensed and officially measured race held on the paved paths around Queen's Park. The course is multi-lap and described as undulating, run on road and pavement surfaces within the park.
The event limits entries to 150 participants and has an entry closing date of 21/08/2026. Race numbers are collected on the night at the Pavilion. Transfers of entries are permitted up to two days before the event, with a transfer closing date of 21/08/2026.
A cash prize of £100 is offered to any male or female athlete who breaks the course record. Current course records are 00:14:59 for the male record and 00:17:03 for the female record.
Minimum age for entry is 11 years. Entry fees listed are £5.00 for affiliated runners and £6.00 for unattached runners. The event is organised by North Derbyshire Running Club and takes place at Queens Park, Boythorpe Road, Chesterfield, S40 2ND. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
