Course and navigation

Safety, support and included items
Checkpoint food and Mountain Fuel gels are provided, including some vegan options. Ultra and marathon entrants will use trackers for safety. Runners should expect long self-supported sections, with stretches of about 10-15 miles between checkpoints. Organisers request no single-use plastic cups at checkpoints; runners should bring their own cup.
Mandatory kit and rules
Compulsory kit is required. Some items must be carried on the ultra and marathon regardless of weather, for example: bivi bag, waterproof jacket, basic first aid kit and at least 1000 ml of liquid. Failure to carry required kit can result in disqualification. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
