NCTRaces: 15x : Solon Springs, WI
NCTRaces: 15x is a last runner standing event held at Palmer's Landing in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. The course is a one mile out and back loop on the North Country Trail, consisting of a half mile out and a half mile back. The course surface is reported as about 99% single track, with the Start/Finish area located in the parking lot.
Runners must complete the one mile loop within a 15 minute window each circuit. If a runner does not complete the loop in that interval they are removed from the race. The Start/Finish Area at Palmer's Landing will include a fully stocked aid station and space for runners to set up individual canopies, cars, or personal aid areas. There will be no race day registration. Registration closes on Thu, Nov 12 at 11:59 PM CT.
The event raises money for the Brule St. Croix Chapter of the North Country Trail to support trail projects and maintenance. Two registration price tiers are offered to reflect differing participant plans and resource needs, acknowledging that some entrants may run only a few laps while others may aim for many more.
