Event Overview
The NCTRaces 15x is a last runner standing event located at Palmer's Landing in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. The race takes place primarily on the North Country Trail, featuring a course that is 99% single-track trail, with the exception of the parking lot at the start and finish area.
Course Format and Rules
The competition follows a specific format where participants must complete a 1 mile out-and-back course every 15 minutes. The route consists of a 0.5 mile stretch out and a 0.5 mile return. Participants who fail to complete the mile within the designated 15-minute window are eliminated from the race.
Facilities and Support
A fully stocked aid station is available at the Palmer's Landing start and finish area. There is also designated space for runners to set up personal support areas, including canopies, cars, or individual aid stations.
Registration Details
Registration must be completed in advance, as there is no race day registration available. Participants can choose between two price points based on their anticipated distance or preferred contribution level. The event serves as a fundraiser for the Brule-St. Croix Chapter of the North Country Trail to support trail maintenance and construction projects.
