Event Format
NCTRaces 15x is a last runner standing event held at Palmer's Landing in Solon Springs, Wisconsin. The race involves a 1-mile out-and-back course, consisting of a half-mile out and a half-mile back. This loop must be completed every 15 minutes. A runner is out of the race when they fail to finish a mile within the 15-minute window.
Course and Venue
The course is 99% single-track on the North Country Trail, with the exception of the parking lot Start/Finish Area. The start/finish area at Palmer's Landing will have a fully stocked aid station. There is also space for participants to set up their own canopies, cars, or personal aid station areas.
Organization and Registration
The event raises money for the Brule-St. Croix Chapter of the North Country Trail to support trail projects and maintenance. There is no race day registration. Two different price points are offered for registration to accommodate participants with different goals, from those aiming to run a shorter distance to those attempting a longer race.
