Gor Don a Thon 5k
Gor Don a Thon is a community 5k held in Gordon, Wisconsin. The event is described as family and stroller friendly. Registration, start, and finish are located at the Gordon Town Garage, 9929 County Road Y, Gordon, WI. The race is chip timed. There is one water station on the course and bottled water at the finish. A short sleeve t-shirt and a swag bag are provided for all registrants with pickup available the morning of the race. Online registration is available; registrants who register by June 10 are guaranteed a shirt. Supplies are limited for same-day registration.
A pancake breakfast is available for purchase at the Gordon Town Garage. Awards include 34 total medals: overall 1st place male and female, and 1st and 2nd place awards for both female and male in the following age groups: 11 and under, 12-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The race takes place during the Gordon Good Neighbor Days weekend, which also features events such as mud volleyball, duck races, fireworks, a parade, live music, a flea market, vendors, and additional community activities.
