Nayatt 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run 2026
The Nayatt 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Nayatt School in Barrington, Rhode Island. The event is organized by the Nayatt School Parent Teacher Organization and includes races and community activities on the school grounds.

The 5K is a USATF certified course and races are electronically timed by RaceWire. The Family 1 Mile is a loop in the neighborhood. The 50 yard dash is held on school grounds and is run by individual age for children; no separate registration is required for the dash.
Registration fees through April 7 vary by event: the 5K is $40, the 1 Mile is $30, a combined 5K plus 1 Mile option is $45, and family registration packages range from $115 to $155. Registrations after March 13 are not guaranteed a commemorative shirt. Youth and adult dry-fit long sleeve shirts are included in registration while available.
Awards for the 5K include a cash prize and trophy for the top overall male and female and medals for age group winners (age groups listed for the 5K and Family 1 Mile). Finisher medals are provided for participants 12 and under. The 50 yard dash awards gift cards to Barrington Books.
A raffle with themed class baskets will be held, with tickets available for pre-purchase by Nayatt families and for purchase on race day; cash and Venmo are accepted. Packet pickup is available the day before the event and on race day. For safety, rollerblades and dogs are prohibited on the course; headphones are permitted but discouraged.
