Navy SEAL LT Michael P Murphy Run Around the Lake 4M Half Marathon
Presented by the Ronkonkoma Rotary, this event in Ronkonkoma, New York on June 27, 2026 is a fundraiser that honors Navy SEAL LT Michael P Murphy and supports veterans and related organizations. The Half Marathon is part of the 2026 USATF-LI Grand Prix Road Race Series and serves as a championship race.

Participants in the 4 Mile and Half Marathon receive a t-shirt and a dog tag; half marathon finishers also receive a finisher medal. Packet pickup is available at St. Joseph's Church gym on the days before the event, with race day pickup at the Ronkonkoma Train Station South Parking Lot. Course services include porta potties every 1.5 miles, water stops every 1 mile, and two electrolyte stops per half marathon loop. A bag drop is provided at the common start area. Virtual participants may upload times and photos between June 27 and July 5. Event parking is at the Ronkonkoma Train Station South Parking Lot and shuttle buses run between the lot and the start area; bus policy does not allow strollers.
Awards are given across overall, veteran, age group, masters, wheelchair, and team categories, plus special commemorative awards including the 317th finisher award in memory of Eric Holden. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
