Navesink 4
This event is the sixth running of the Navesink 4, held at Bodman Park in Middletown, New Jersey. It is sponsored by the Jersey Shore Running Club and features a variety of in-park activities and race options for different ages.
Distances and formats include:
- 4 Mile run along Cooper Road, mostly shaded with rolling hills.
- 2 Mile walk.
- Kids races for ages 12 and under; medal, goodie bag, complimentary ice cream.
T-shirt and bib pick-up takes place at the Bodman Park M.Y.A.A. Little League Clubhouse. Limited-edition tie-dye shirts are reserved for the first 400 registrants, and all runners receive a shirt. Specific pick-up times are provided by the organizer.
Post race offerings include complimentary ice cream at the park and a post race gathering at Birdsmouth Brewing in Oceanport, where participants 21 and over receive one complimentary beer. Team entries are supported; participants may create or join teams.
Non-permitted items on the course and in park areas include bikes, strollers, dogs, and drones. Attendees with service animals are asked to contact the organizer in advance so arrangements can be noted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
