Navesink 4 : Middletown, New Jersey
The event is the sixth running of the Navesink 4, held at Bodman Park in Middletown, New Jersey. It includes a running event and a walking event along Cooper Road, a mostly shaded route that passes rolling hills and horse farms.
Distances offered:
- 4 Miles running event, registration fee $32.
- 2 Miles walking event, registration fee $25.
T-shirt and bib pick-up is at the M.Y.A.A. Little League Clubhouse at Bodman Park. T-shirts are tie-dye limited editions for the first 400 registrants; all runners receive a shirt. Pick-up is scheduled for Friday, July 24 and the morning of the event.
A post-race gathering is organized at Birdsmouth Brewing in Oceanport. Complimentary ice cream is available at the park and the post-race gathering includes one complimentary beer for participants 21 and older. Teams are supported; participants may create or join a team.
Non-permitted items on the course and at event areas include bikes, strollers, dogs, and drones. Service animals are allowed with advance notification to organizers. The Jersey Shore Running Club is listed as a sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
