12th Annual Native Breast Cancer Awareness Walk/Run
The event takes place on October 17, 2026 at Elk Grove Regional Park in Elk Grove, California. It offers two course options and a day of community activities focused on breast cancer awareness and screening.
Course options:
- 1.4 Miles walk
- 2.8 Miles run
Registration is organized in an early and a late period: Early Bird registration runs from June 15 through August 9 with a $45 fee; late registration runs from August 10 through September 11 with a $55 fee. Registration includes an event t-shirt, a swag bag, light breakfast, lunch, drinks, and a raffle ticket.
Onsite activities and services include a Fun Zone with carnival games, a jump house, a balloon artist, and face painting. Additional health-focused features listed for the day include a mammo van for screenings, health booths, exercise activities, a Garden of Hope, honoring of breast cancer survivors, traditional healing, and live entertainment. Kona Ice and coffee service are noted as available during the event.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, October 9 at the Wilton Rancheria Tribal Warehouse (9728 Kent Street, Elk Grove).
