Event overview
The National Capital 10 Miler and the Janet Braunstein 5 Miler take place on November 16, 2025, at Hains Point in Washington, DC. The original 20 Miler event was modified to a 10 Miler after a shutdown on October 5; the Janet Braunstein race remains a 5 Miler. The course is certified. Registration prices listed are $54 (includes $4 fee) for the National Capital 10 Miler and $43.40 (includes $3.40 fee) for the Janet Braunstein 5 Miler, with a price increase after November 15, 2025.

Course, logistics and awards
The race follows Ohio Drive SW around Hains Point on East Potomac Park. The start area is at the eastern gate to East Potomac Park, near the golf range and facing the Washington Channel. The parking lot by the East Potomac Mini Golf course is closest to the start; additional parking is at Parking Lot B NPS on the Potomac side of the peninsula or on-street parking along Ohio Drive SW if lots are full. All finishers receive a 2025 commemorative hoodie in Columbia Blue or Rock, subject to availability; the hoodie references the 20 Miler and is not dated. Prize gift cards are provided by PR Running.
