Farm Park Challenge: May 2, 2026
The Farm Park Challenge is a trail running event on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at the Agricultural History Farm Park, 18400 Muncaster Rd, Derwood, Maryland.
Distances and formats include:
- Marathon
- 25K
- 3-hour challenge (three segments)
- 6-hour challenge (six segments)
- 10-hour challenge (ten segments)
Timed challenges use five mile out-and-back laps on natural surface trails. Each segment starts at the top of the hour; completing a lap in less than 60 minutes allows rest until the next start. The course has grassy sections, single track with some exposed rocks and roots, a couple of minor creek crossings, and rolling hills with no major climbs. Trail conditions may require course changes.
An on-course aid station provides water, sports drink, salty and sugary snacks, and vegan and vegetarian options. The event is organized by the MyMuddyShoes Trail Club of Montgomery County, Maryland. Registration closes April 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET. The final $10 price hike has been removed for all distances; to be guaranteed a shirt register by April 18, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.
