Event
The Muddy Shoes Farm Park Challenge is a trail running event presented by the My Muddy Shoes running club. It takes place at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. The next edition is scheduled for Saturday, May 2, 2026, with registration opening in early 2026. Volunteers receive the same event swag as finishers (a shirt and an etched pint glass) and may run the course before or after their shift.
Race options and format
The core challenge is to complete each lap of the course in under one hour for the duration of the chosen race. If a lap is finished in less than one hour, participants may rest until the next lap begins. To successfully complete a lap, the entire course must be covered in under one hour. - 3-Hour Challenge - 3 laps, one lap per hour
- 6-Hour Challenge - 6 laps, one lap per hour
- 10-Hour Challenge - 10 laps, one lap per hour
- Marathon and 25K - conventionally timed events
