Nashville Women's Triathlon - May 16, 2027
The Nashville Women's Triathlon is a women-focused multi-sport event held at Centennial Park in Nashville, TN, with staging adjacent to the Parthenon and the Tennessee Woman Suffrage Monument. The event offers Super Sprint and Sprint distances and multiple race formats including individual triathlon, swim-bike, bike-run, and 2- or 3-person relays. Proceeds benefit the Centennial Park Conservancy.
Distances:
- Super Sprint: Swim 100 m, Bike 8k, Run 2k
- Sprint: Swim 200 m, Bike 15k, Run 4k
The swim takes place in a 50 meter indoor pool using an interval start. Race numbers and swim order are assigned from registrants' estimated swim times; registrants who pre-register by the Wednesday night before the race receive earlier positions. Participants may move to the back of the line. After exiting the pool, the transition area is about 0.15 miles away on pavement and sidewalk; a staging area for shoes is available outside the pool exit.
The bike course runs from Centennial Park through Midtown, Sylvan Park, and Sylvan Heights. The sprint course uses two loops and includes flat sections, moderate climbs, and some descents. Police will control intersections; some streets have bike lanes and coned vehicle lanes. A bike mount and dismount line is used at transition.
The run follows Centennial Park greenway paths and is described as completely flat, finishing adjacent to the Parthenon for a spectator friendly finish area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
