NASFAA National Conference Charity Events
The NASFAA National Conference organizes a series of charitable activities to support the student financial aid community. For the 2026 event, the selected charity partner is First Generation College Bound. These charitable events take place in National Harbor and Oxon Hill, Maryland, and include athletic, social, and skill-based activities.
Participants have several options to support the cause through donation-based registration:
- In-Person Charity 5K: A morning run or walk held in National Harbor.
- Virtual Charity 5K: An online alternative for those not attending in person.
- Charity Trivia Night: A general knowledge team competition.
- Charity Topgolf Game Play: A driving range activity for teams or individuals.
The 5K event is a rain-or-shine activity. Participants who register by May 1, 2026, are eligible for an event T-shirt. Both the Trivia Night and the Topgolf sessions take place concurrently at Topgolf National Harbor, so participants may select only one of these two evening events. Registration bundles are available for those who wish to combine the 5K with one of the evening activities. Direct donations are also accepted for those who choose not to partake in specific events.
