Narrowleaf Lake Run
The Narrowleaf Lake Run takes place on October 31st, 2026 at Boyd Lake State Park in Loveland, Colorado. This is the seventh annual running of the event and it is USATF sanctioned. The organizer identifies the event as a 100% plant based event.
The event offers multiple distance options along wide, well maintained paved walkways with about a half mile of off‑road surface on the south loop. The course follows the lake shoreline with lake and wildlife views, no vehicle traffic on the route, and very little elevation gain.
Distances available:
- 1 Mile Pumpkin Run
- Heavy 5K (4 mile)
- Heavy 10K (7 mile)
- Heavy 15K (10 mile)
- Kids Fun Run 1/2 mile and 1 mile
Aid stations are placed on the course; main stations provide cups of water, electrolyte drink, snacks and gel packs in biodegradable cups. All aid stations will include dog water bowls. Additional mobile toilets will be available in the starting area parking lots. Course routing may be adjusted for weather. Athletes are responsible for knowing course routes and following posted markings and volunteer directions.
Race amenities for 5K, 10K, 15K and 1 Mile Pumpkin participants include an event shirt, finisher medal, race bib, free event photos, post race food and drinks and professional chip timing. The Pumpkin 1 Mile is run while carrying a pumpkin; participants may bring their own pumpkin or use one provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
