Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K and Donut 1-Mile Run/Walk
The event takes place on September 18, 2027, at Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, IN 46550. The course is an out-and-back through the Nappanee countryside passing farms and open spaces. The race is chip timed by Watt's My Time and uses timing mats; all participants must cross timing mats and wear bibs on the front of the body. Bibs are non-transferable.

- 3.1 Miles Donut Dash 5K
- 1 Mile Kids Donut 1-Mile, ages 12 and under
- 1 Mile Donut 1-Mile, ages 13 to 100
- 4 Miles Donut Dash Combo 5K and 1 Mile
Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, September 17, 5:00–8:00 PM under the church carport (entrance D), and Saturday, September 18, 6:30–8:20 AM inside the church (entrance D). Race day registration is online only. Multi-person pricing applies when three or more people register at the same time. T-shirt size requests are guaranteed only if registered by Saturday, August 28 at midnight.
The event is held rain or shine; directors may delay, pause, modify, or cancel for dangerous weather. No refunds, credits, transfers, or deferrals are provided. Refreshments at the finish include water, donuts, and bananas. The first 900 finishers in both races receive finisher medals.
Awards include custom wooden apple awards for 1-Mile top finishers by gender and age divisions, 5K overall top three male and female finishers, and 5K age-group awards for listed male and female age groups. Awards are presented after the last 5K finisher and are not mailed. Walkers and strollers are welcome. Pets are not allowed except certified service animals.
