Nappanee Apple Festival Donut Dash 5K and Donut Mile Run/Walk
The event takes place at Nappanee Missionary Church, 70417 SR 19 North, Nappanee, IN. It is part of the Nappanee Apple Festival 50th anniversary and uses the church property for the start and finish. Ample parking and bathroom facilities are available on site.
Race options listed by the organizer include a Donut Dash 5K (3.1 miles), a Donut 1 mile for ages 13 and older, a Kids Donut 1 mile for ages 12 and under, and a combo entry that covers both distances. Entry fees provided are $15.00 for the 5K, $6.00 for each 1 mile entry, and $20.00 for the combo option. A multi-person pricing discount is offered when four or more registrants register together, reducing the per person fee by $3.00. Race day registration is online only; no paper registration is available.
Packet pick up is scheduled the evening before and the morning of the event at Nappanee Missionary Church. Shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis after August 31 and unclaimed shirts will not be mailed. Chip timing is provided by Watt’s My Time.
Finish line refreshments include an apple, a donut, and apple cider. Awards are given for the 1 mile to top boys and girls and for the 5K to overall top men and women plus top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups. Awards are presented shortly after the last 5K finisher and will not be mailed. The event permits dogs under specified rules including non-retractable leashes and owner cleanup; dogs are not allowed inside the church. No refunds are available.
