GOTR Naples 5K
The GOTR Naples 5K is a season-closing, celebratory 5K event held on Sunday December 6, 2026 at North Collier Regional Park in Naples, Florida. The event marks the end of the Girls on the Run season and provides participants a tangible sense of accomplishment through completion of the course.
The course distance is 5K (3.1 miles). Every registered participant who completes the 5K receives a commemorative medal. The event is noncompetitive in focus; participants are encouraged to walk, run, roll, push, or skip at their own pace. The council reports designated accessible parking and states the 5K is suitable for people with disabilities.
Onsite activities include face painting, happy hair stations, water stations, and merchandise for sale. Volunteers are used for setup and tear down, registration, course marshals, running buddies, water stations, cheer stations, and activity stations such as face painting. Family, friends and community members may participate but must register separately from program participants.
Registration fees listed for the event are Adult $40 and Youth under 18 $30; program participants and coaches for the season are already registered and do not need to complete additional registration. All registrations include liability waivers. For participant safety, the council issues race bibs, assigns running buddies, monitors the course, conducts head counts, and maintains a safety plan for staff and volunteers.
