Course and logistics
The course runs on single-track trails with hills, streams, and rocks. Course turns and trail crossings are marked with orange ribbon. The 10K is a single loop. The Half Marathon does the 10K loop twice. The Marathon includes the 10K loop plus a 4-mile out-and-back extension and repeats that sequence before a final 10K loop. There is one aid station at the start/finish area; marathoners encounter it at miles 6, 10, 16, and 20, and half marathoners see it once between loops. Course cut-off time is 6 hours with specified pace limits. Headphones and other audio devices are not allowed on the course. Bibs are mailed beginning two weeks before the event; unmailed bibs can be picked up on race morning. Parking inside the park is $10 per vehicle; overflow parking is available along Hwy 29.
