Event Overview
The Napa Valley Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K is the 34th annual running event. It takes place on March 21, 2026, at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park in California. The event is limited to 300 participants and is noted for selling out every year.
The trail courses run on single-track paths within the state park. The terrain includes streams, hills, and rocks. The park is described as a local treasure located near restaurants and wineries.
Course Details
Participants can choose from three distances:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10K
There is an overall course cut-off time of 6 hours. Hikers and walkers are welcome. The 10K is a single loop. The Half Marathon consists of two 10K loops. The Marathon involves running the 10K loop, followed by a 4-mile out-and-back section, and then repeats this combination before a final 10K loop. The course is marked with orange ribbon at turns and trail crossings.
One aid station is located at the start/finish area. Runners are highly recommended to carry their own hydration.
