Napa Valley Spring Triathlon
The Napa Valley Spring Triathlon takes place on April 10, 2027, at Putah Canyon Campground and Lake Berryessa in Napa Valley, California. The event is USAT sanctioned and organized by Alpha Win Racing. The course runs alongside Lake Berryessa and includes swim, bike and run segments with multiple turns and lakeside vistas.
The setting includes local wildlife such as swans, bald eagles, fox and whitetail deer. Last year athletes recorded a water temperature of 68°F; this year's water temperature is expected in the high 60s Fahrenheit. Multiple race formats and entry categories are offered, including individual, relay and aquabike options, with reduced rates for military, students and youth in some categories.
Distances for the main formats are:
- Open: Swim 100 m, Bike 2 mi, Run 1 mi
- Sprint: Swim 750 m, Bike 12.4 mi, Run 3.1 mi
- Olympic: Swim 1500 m, Bike 24.8 mi, Run 6.2 mi
- Long Course: Swim 1.2 mi, Bike 56 mi, Run 13.1 mi
Entry prices start at USD 63 for the Open distance, USD 114 for Sprint, USD 189 for Olympic and USD 279 for Long Course. Prices increase on October 10.
