Napa to Sonoma Half Marathon & Rosé 5K : event overview

The Napa to Sonoma event is a race weekend in July featuring two distances. The half marathon is 13.1 miles, run point-to-point from Cuvaison Estate Wines to Sonoma Plaza. The Rosé 5K is 3.1 miles, starting and finishing on Sonoma Plaza and held the day before the half marathon.

Entry options include Early Access via a 2027 waitlist that provides registration 48 hours before public launch and discounted pricing. Early Access offers up to 23% off (savings stated up to $76) and is limited to 299 early-entry spots. 2026 finishers receive Super Early Access ahead of the waitlist. Early Access entries are listed from $62.

Race logistics on prior editions include packet pick-up at the Sonoma Community Center and at Sonoma Plaza in front of Sonoma City Hall. Participants must collect their own bib at the Friday packet pick-up. Half marathon bib pick-up is required to receive the race shirt, tote, gear check bag, and related items. Rosé 5K participants pick up shirts and tote bags after their race. Participants registered for The Pairing may pick up a half marathon bib after the Rosé 5K.

Half marathon finishers aged 21 and over receive one complimentary admission to a post-race wine festival in Sonoma Plaza, which includes a commemorative wine glass and tastings. The Rosé 5K features on-course and post-race rosé tastings.
