Napa Half Marathon
The Napa Half Marathon takes place in east Napa on rolling, vineyard lined roads around Skyline Park. The event offers two measured road distances through rustic countryside neighborhoods and vineyard areas. The course runs on public roads and will be open to slow moving traffic; runners are directed by course marshals and lead bikers.
Course details include paved surfaces for most of the route, with the first and last 80 meters on hard packed dirt and gravel. Mile markers are placed at each mile. Aid stations with water, electrolyte drinks and pretzels will be located near miles 2, 3.5, 4.7, 7.5 and 10, with emergency water at mile 11.5. Portable toilets are placed along the course at miles 2.5, 5.2 and 8.8; restrooms are also available at the start and finish areas.
Finishers of the half receive a bottle of Napa Valley wine and all finishers receive a custom finisher medal. Overall winners and age group top finishers receive awards; overall winners receive a pair of running shoes up to $150 in value. The event is hosted by Athletic Feat and is chip timed by SVE Timing. Packet pick-up is offered on the two days before the race at Athletic Feat in Napa. Dogs are not allowed inside Skyline Park; pacers are provided for the half marathon only.
