Bay Front Run : Bayfront Blvd, Hercules, CA
Bay Front Run is scheduled for October 4, 2026, on Bayfront Blvd in Hercules. The event includes multiple in-person and virtual distances that run along the Bay Front Trail and the Bay Trail through Hercules to Rodeo; the 10K uses a double loop route. The course begins at Sanderling and Bayfront and turns around at the end of the Bay Trail in Rodeo.
Distances offered:
- 5K run (chip timed)
- 10K run (chip timed, double loop)
- 1 Mile run/walk
- Kids Fun Run (ages 3–10)
- Virtual 5K and virtual 10K
Chip timing is used for the 5K and 10K and results will be posted after the event; a bib must be worn to be timed. Awards are given to top female and male finishers for the 5K and 10K. Participants who register by September 15 receive an event T-shirt; the first 350 registered participants receive a finisher medal. Registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another individual.
An associated Bay Front Festival follows the run and features local entertainment, music, food trucks, small businesses, and community organizations. Early packet pick-up is scheduled the day before at The Dylan Apartments; packet pick-up and last registrations occur on event day at Sanderling and Bayfront.
