Event Overview
The 32nd Annual Nancy Price Memorial 5K takes place on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Youngstown, NY. The event honors Nancy Price, a former recreation director who helped develop local parks and recreation programs. Proceeds from the event go toward the Annual Nancy & Vicki Price Memorial Scholarships for local graduates who demonstrate community involvement.
Course
The race starts and finishes in front of the Griffon Brewery on Lockport Street. The route is a scenic 5K course that goes through the Village of Youngstown and Fort Niagara State Park. A 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run is also scheduled before the main event.
Registration and Fees
Online registration remains open until the race start. Packet pickup occurs outside the Griffon Brewery from 5:00 PM.
- 5K Run/Walk (19 and older): $25, or $30 on race day.
- 5K Run/Walk (18 and younger): $20, or $25 on race day.
- 1/2 Mile Kids Fun Run: $15.
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk: $25.
Registrants by a specified date in April are guaranteed a race t-shirt. A 3-person team challenge is available with a trophy for the fastest team based on average time.
Post-Race and Awards
An awards ceremony and celebration with food and drinks (not included in registration) is held outside the Griffon Brewery after the race. Trophies are awarded to the first overall male and female finishers and the fastest team. All participants can download custom finisher certificates and view finish line photos. Age group awards are given in nine categories.
Logistics
Free parking is available in the Griffon Brewery lot and on surrounding streets. The event is professionally timed with RFID chip timing, and results are posted in real time. In case of foul weather or safety concerns, organizers reserve the right to reschedule the event or convert it to a virtual race, with no refunds issued.
