Event Overview
This event is part of the Outer Banks Sunrise Beach Race Series, presented by Village Realty. It takes place on the beach at Jennette's Pier in Nags Head, North Carolina.
Distances
Participants can choose from two race distances:
- A 5k chip-timed run.
- A 1 Mile chip-timed run.
Event Details
The event is described as family- and walker-friendly. All participants receive a finisher medal and a Summer Series t-shirt.
Awards are given for the 5k distance. The top three overall male and female winners receive awards. Additional awards are given for the first place male and female in the 14 & under age category and the Masters (40 & over) category.
Registration fees include the chip-timed race, an event t-shirt, post-race cold breakfast and refreshments, and a finisher medal. The adult fee is $45, while youth aged 17 and under pay $40.
Late registration and walk-up registration are available on the event morning at the race location. There is no packet pickup available on days before the event.
