47th Annual Nā Holo Wāhine Fun Run/Walk
The Valley Isle Road Runners present the 47th annual Nā Holo Wāhine fun run and walk on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the University of Hawai'i – Maui College, 310 W. Ka‘ahumanu Avenue, Kahului. The event is presented as a Mothers' Day celebration and is open to everyone. It serves as a fundraiser for a University of Hawai‘i – Maui College scholarship fund honoring the memory of a former faculty member and community volunteer who died in 2021.
Distances offered include:
- 5K Run/Walk: 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile Walk: 1 mile
Registration opens March 24, 2026. VIRR member pricing is listed at $25 through May 8, 2026; pricing for nonmembers is $30 through May 8, 2026. Late registration at packet pickup is $40. No new registrations will be accepted on race day. Registrations received after April 5, 2026 do not have a guarantee for an event t-shirt or correct size.
Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2026 at UH–Maui College, Noi‘i Building, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., and packet pickup will also be available on race day. A community food drive for the Maui Food Bank will accept nonperishable donations at packet pickup and on race day. Volunteers are requested to assist with event operations.
