Maui 5K

The Maui 5K is a community run and walk held at the Maui Ocean Center in Wailuku, Hawaii. The event on March 7, 2027 offers multiple distance options and formats that start and finish at the Maui Ocean Center or follow the nearby Ma'alaea Triangle for the 1 Mile course.

Distances and formats include:

• 5K timed event with age-group awards
• 5K untimed run/walk with no age-group awards
• 1 Mile untimed run/walk
• Youth 5K timed and untimed categories for participants 17 years and under
• Youth 1 Mile untimed for participants 17 years and under
• Stroller participants (stroller must be accompanied by a registered participant; stroller participant must be 4 years of age and under)
• Virtual 5K or 1 Mile run/walk option

A race packet pick up is scheduled for March 6, 2027; the pick up location is to be announced. Virtual participants with U.S. postal addresses will receive T-shirts by mail after the event. Virtual finish times may be posted during a specified pre-event window. Registration for in-person and virtual options has defined opening and closing dates.

All event proceeds will be donated to the school designated by each participant during online registration. The event is organized to support school fitness programs and provide additional funds for youth sports and equipment in Maui County.
