My Mother Made Me Do It Mother's Day Race
This event is a 1 Mile run/walk held at Hotchkiss Field in Prospect, CT to coincide with Mother's Day. The course uses a two-loop layout on the cinder walking path that circles the park.
Registration opens on September 17, 2025. Pre-registration fees are tiered: $25 through April 5, 2026; $30 through May 8, 2026; and $35 on race day. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants registered by midnight on Sunday, April 26.
Parking is available on site. Awards are offered to the overall Female, Male, and Non-Binary winners and to the top three finishers in each age group: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80 plus. Participants must be present at the award presentation to receive awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
