My Day 5K

My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot

The event takes place on September 5, 2026 at Maury County Park in Columbia, Tennessee. It is presented as part of the My Day program, which the Maury County Fair and the Knights of Columbus have supported for over 16 years to serve special needs youth and young adults. The 2025 My Day program hosted more than 1,200 special needs youth and young adults along with their caregivers.

The event expands the My Day mission and benefits local nonprofit organizations including Kings Daughters School, Maury County Special Olympics, and Best Buddies of Tennessee. Distances offered:

• 5K
• 1 Mile

Registration information is provided for each distance and fees are listed for the events: the 5K has a registration fee of $30.00 and the 1 Mile Trot has a registration fee of $15.00. Registration opens on May 4, 2026 and closes on race day, September 5, 2026. Packet pick-up is scheduled the afternoon before at St Catherine of Siena Church and continues on race morning at Maury County Park. Packet pick-up on the church grounds is organized as a drive-through in the parking lot. Participants may pick up packets for others if they know the registrant's date of birth. Registration is also available during packet pick-up.

Results are posted live via a QR code and awards are distributed near the Log Cabin. The 5K includes overall, masters 40 plus, and super grandmasters 70 plus categories, plus age-group medals. The 1 Mile Trot awards the top three in the age groups 9 and under and 10 to 14. All 5K registrants who register by August 20, 2026 will receive a race t-shirt.
