Event Overview
The My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot is an event in Columbia, Tennessee. It takes place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Maury County Park. The race starts and ends at the Log Cabin at 1018 Maury County Park Drive.
The event supports local non-profit organizations including Kings Daughters School, Maury County Special Olympics, and Best Buddies of Tennessee. It expands the mission of "My Day at the Fair," a program that has supported special needs youth and young adults for over 16 years. The event also honors William "Will" Spiess.

- My Day 1 Mile Trot
Participant Information
Awards are given based on live results. For the 5K, top awards are presented for overall, masters (ages 40+), and super grandmasters (ages 70+) male and female participants. The 5K also awards medals to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups, from 9 and under to 80+. For the 1 Mile Trot, medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the 9 and under and 10-14 age groups.
Participants who register by August 25, 2026, will receive a race t-shirt.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on Friday, September 4, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church (3019 Cayce Lane, Columbia). It operates as a drive-through service in the church parking lot.
