Event overview
The My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot is set for Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Maury County Park. Races start and end at the Log Cabin. The event is the second annual My Day 5K and 1 Mile Trot and expands the My Day at the Fair program, which has supported special needs youth and young adults for over 16 years. The 2025 My Day Event hosted over 1,200 special needs youth and young adults with their caregivers.

Registration opens May 4, 2026. Listed entry prices include a fee: the 5K is $33.98 and the 1 Mile Trot is $18.98. Funds raised will benefit local Maury County nonprofit organizations, including Kings Daughters School, Maury County Special Olympics, and Best Buddies of Tennessee.
Logistics and awards
Packet pick-up is scheduled the day before the race at St. Catherine of Siena Church and will operate as a drive-through in the church parking lot. Packet pick-up and in-person registration also continue on race morning at Maury County Park. Participants may pick up packets for registered friends or family if they know the registrant’s date of birth.
All participants who register by August 25, 2026, will receive a race t-shirt. Results are live and awards are given on site. 5K awards include overall male and female, Masters (ages 40+), Super Grandmasters (ages 70+), and age-group medals through 80+. The 1 Mile Trot has age-group awards for 9 and under and 10–14. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
