Faster For Foster Trail Run is a trail race in Thompson's Station, Tennessee, organized to benefit New To You, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports foster children in middle Tennessee. The event offers the following distances:
- 10K
- 5K
Both races take place on trails at Preservation Park, 1600 Thompson's Station Road West. The 10K follows the 5K course twice. The course is marked with orange or pink flags on the ground; clustered flags indicate turns or confusing sections. Runners are advised to return to the last seen flag if they do not see another for over a quarter mile.
Terrain varies by section. The first roughly two miles are on grass, cross country surfaces, or gravel jeep roads with wide trails. The course includes a short out-and-back early on and a turnaround with a water stop near mile 1.5. The final mile is on a narrower, more technical trail with rocks and roots; the trail narrows further in places and requires attention while passing. Participants are asked to follow leave no trace practices.
The event is dog friendly with a leash requirement and welcomes walkers, hikers, and runners. Packet pickup is available before the race at Fleet Feet Cool Springs and at the park on race day.
