Faster For Foster Trail Run
The event is a trail race held at Preservation Park in Thompson's Station, Tennessee. Distances offered:

- 5K
The race benefits New To You, Inc, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports foster children in middle Tennessee. The organizer states that 100% of proceeds will go directly to helping foster children. Foster children and foster families may participate without a registration fee; the organizer notes an honor system for that provision.
Both distances use marked trails. The 10K consists of two laps of the 5K course. The initial portion is on grass or gravel roads for about two miles with wide trails and an out-and-back section. There is a water stop near the out-and-back turnaround. The final section includes narrower, more technical singletrack with rocks and roots; runners are advised to look down and yield when passing. Dogs on leash are allowed on course; walkers and hikers are also welcome.
Logistics include packet pick up at a Fleet Feet store and on site at Preservation Park, and parking in the gravel lot at the main park entrance with a short walk to the pavilion. Real bathrooms are located about 0.15 mile from the parking area.
Awards are given to the top three overall men and women and to first place K9 in each race, plus age group awards for multiple age brackets. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
