Mule Kick 5K & 1-Mile Trot - Columbia, TN
The Mule Kick 5K & 1-Mile Trot takes place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Riverwalk Park (102 Riverside Drive, Columbia, TN 38401). The event includes two distances:
- 5K - 3.1-mile course that starts and finishes at Riverwalk Park.
- 1-Mile Trot - fun run or walk for all ages.
The Maury Regional Health Care Foundation hosts the event. Proceeds provide operational support for Maury Regional Health’s mobile unit and will partially fund the Wellness and Aquatics Center Healthy Living Endowment and the Columbia Parks & Recreation Department. The Maury County school with the highest 5K participation will receive a Foundation donation for its physical education program.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, April 10 in the Farmers Market Pavilion parking lot and will operate as a drive-through. Packets include a race T-shirt, race number, timing tag, and a goody bag. Participants who pre-register at least one week in advance are guaranteed their selected shirt size; shirt exchanges are handled after the race. Spirit runners may register to receive a shirt without competing.
Bodies Race Company handles timing; the timing chip is on the back of the racing bib and numbers should be worn on the front outermost garment. Results are available live and awards are distributed near the mobile bus. Award categories include overall, Masters (40+), Super Grandmasters (70+), age-division medals for the 5K, and awards for top finishers under 12 in the 1-Mile Trot.
Participants may park at Riverside Elementary, the Riverwalk parking lot, or across the Riverwalk Bridge. Strollers and walkers are allowed; dogs are not permitted.
