The Duck River Trail Run takes place along trails in Chickasaw Trace Park in Columbia, Tennessee. Net proceeds benefit Maury County Parks & Recreation and the preservation and care of Chickasaw Trace Park. The event is held rain or shine and uses marked trails with mile markers and on-course water and Gatorade.

Entry, course, and policies
Pre-registration fees are listed as $27 for the 5K and $32 for the 15K. Morning-of registration fees are listed as $35 for the 5K and $40 for the 15K. A free shirt is included with registration. On-site check-in and registration are available. Course maps are provided for both the 5K and 15K routes.
The event does not issue refunds and rollovers are not permitted. Bib transfers and race-distance category changes are allowed through March 23. Maury County Parks & Recreation oversees multiple park facilities in the county, roughly 1,000 acres combined, and notes regional connections to state-managed recreational property of more than 14,000 acres.
