Course and race details
All courses run along the shores of Lake Washington for most of their distance. The half marathon is two laps: the first lap is 6.9 miles with a steep but short hill early, the second lap is 6.2 miles and largely flat. The 10K is two laps: a 3.7-mile first lap with some early hills and a 2.5-mile flatter second lap. The 5K is 3.1 miles with a steep quick hill near the start.
The half marathon relay requires both laps to be completed; a relay handoff area is located just before the finish line in the park gazebo. Aid stations appear every 2-3 miles and are stocked with Clif and GU gels and Tailwind endurance fuel. The event is cupless; participants are encouraged to bring reusable hydration or use a small reusable cup provided by the race. Entry includes a long sleeve 1/4 zip shirt, finisher medal, hot post-race oatmeal, and free race photos.
Logistics and awards
Parking includes about 200 spots in the Upper Loop of Seward Park, parallel parking, and nearby on-street parking within walking distance of the start on the south side of the park. Overall awards are given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers based on gun time, and age-group awards are given in five-year increments; awards must be picked up at the race. Youth and senior discounts are available for eligible participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
