MVRRC Valentine's Day Fun Run 10K
The Moreno Valley Road Runners Club hosts a Valentine’s Day running event at Lake Perris State Recreation Area in Perris, CA on February 13, 2027. The venue is the dam area at 17801 Lake Perris Drive.
The event includes these distances:
- 1 Mile kids race for ages 12 and under
- 5K run/walk out and back along the dam
- 10K two loops of the 5K course
The course is described as scenic, flat, and traffic free along the Lake Perris Dam. All races start and finish in the dam area.
Park entry requires a $10 per vehicle fee. The Fisherman Lot has limited parking and overflow parking may require about a half mile walk to the race area. Park rangers may issue citations for vehicles parked in unauthorized areas. Organizers advise carpooling and arriving early to allow time for park entrance, parking, and reaching the race area.
Awards are given to the top three finishers in boys and girls for the kids race, and top three males and females in the 5K and 10K. All participants receive a finisher medal. Registration fees listed are $5 for the kids 1 mile, $15 for the 5K, and $20 for the 10K; race day prices are the same. Accepted race day payments include cash, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle.
