MVRRC 13th Annual Turkey Run 2026
The event takes place on November 21, 2026 at Lake Perris State Recreation Area, Dam Area in Perris, California. It offers a set of timed road races and several youth races held on a course that starts and finishes at the dam area.
Distances included:
- Toddler Dash 50 meters
- Ages 4–5 200 meters
- Ages 6–7 400 meters
- Ages 8–12 Championship Mile 1 mile
- 1 Mile adult mile challenge
- 5K
- 10K
Course and timing details note a flat, fast route along the dam with lake views and no vehicle traffic on the racecourse. Professional live chip timing is provided and all participants receive a finisher medal. Awards are planned for overall top finishers in the 5K and 10K and for top boys and girls in the youth races. The first 50 registered participants receive an event T-shirt.
Entry fees vary by race category, with the kids races carrying a small fee and the 5K and 10K listed at specific amounts. Race day registration may be available. Parking at the dam area is limited; overflow parking is available about a 0.5 mile walk from the start and the park charges a vehicle entrance fee. Park rangers may enforce parking rules.
