MVRRC 13th Annual Turkey Run : Lake Perris Dam
The event takes place on November 21, 2026 at the Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam Area in Perris, California. It is organized by the Moreno Valley Road Runners Club and includes multiple distances for adults and children.
The course starts and finishes at the dam area and is described as flat, fast, and closed to vehicle traffic. The setting offers lake views and morning temperatures typical of the area. Live chip timing will be used for the timed races. All participants receive a finisher medal and the first 50 registered adult participants receive an official event T-shirt.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and the 10K. Parking at the dam is limited; overflow parking requires about a 0.5-mile walk to the start/finish area. Lake Perris State Recreation Area charges a vehicle entrance fee at the gate.
Registration opens June 22, 2026 and closes November 20, 2026. Race day registration may be available.

- 50 meters Toddler Dash (ages 3 and under)
- 200 meters (ages 4–5)
- 300 meters (ages 6–7)
