MVRRC 13th Annual Turkey Run 2026
Moreno Valley Road Runners Club presents the 13th Annual Turkey Run on November 21, 2026 at Lake Perris State Recreation Area - Dam Area, 17801 Lake Perris Drive, Perris, CA 92571. The event program includes youth championship races and timed 5K and 10K runs.
Distances offered:
- 50 meters toddler dash, ages 3 and under, free
- 200 meters ages 4–5, $5 entry
- 300 meters ages 6–7, $5 entry
- 1 mile ages 8–12 championship mile, $5 entry
- 5K listed as 3 miles, $20 entry
- 10K listed as 6 miles, $25 entry
The course starts and finishes at the Dam Area and is described as flat and fast with closed vehicle access and lake views. Professional live chip timing will be used. All finishers receive a finisher medal and the first 50 registered participants receive an official event T-shirt. Awards are planned for the top three male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. Youth races for ages 4–12 include awards for the top three boys and girls; the toddler dash offers a participation ribbon.
Parking at the Dam Area is limited and overflow parking requires about a 0.5 mile walk to the start area. Lake Perris State Recreation Area charges a vehicle entrance fee.
