MVRRC 7th Annual Mother's Day 5K Fun Run
The Moreno Valley Road Runners Club organizes the seventh annual Mother's Day fun run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area, Dam area, located at 17801 Lake Perris Drive, Perris, CA 92571. The event takes place on May 9 and 10, 2026 and includes activities designed for families and youth.
The program features two distances:
- 5K Run/Walk - $20
- Kids 1 Mile Dash (ages 12 and under) - $5
Medals are provided to all finishers. Awards are given at a post-race ceremony for the top three males and top three females in the 5K and for the top three boys and top three girls in the kids 1 Mile. The first 50 female online registrants receive a complimentary Mother's Day T-shirt. Proceeds support the running club, youth training programs, and future race events.
Same-day registration is available at the listed prices and race day transactions require cash only. A park entrance fee of $20 per vehicle applies. Event organizers invite volunteers to assist with race operations. Directions are provided for entry from both the Perris and Moreno Valley sides of the park.
