7th Annual Mother's Day Fun Run
The Moreno Valley Road Runners Club hosts this annual sporting event at the Lake Perris State Recreation Area in Perris, California. The activity takes place along the Lake Perris Dam, offering a scenic route for participants to walk, jog, or run. The event is organized to support youth training programs and the development of future race experiences for the local community.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km run or walk
- 1 mile dash for children
The 1 mile dash is specifically designated for children aged 12 and under. For the 5 km distance, the race features an open individual age group format. All participants receive a medal upon crossing the finish line. Dedicated awards are presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in the 5 km event, as well as the top three boys and top three girls in the 1 mile dash.
The course is located at 17801 Lake Perris Drive. Accessing the starting area involves turning onto Alta Calle at the Fisherman Lot, which is situated between the Moreno Valley and Perris entrance points.
