MVHA 5K Fun Run/Walk and Holiday Market
The MVHA 5K Fun Run/Walk and Holiday Market is the third annual community event held on November 14. The core event is a 5K fun run and walk through one of Texas' largest historic districts in San Antonio. People and dogs of all ages are invited to participate in the run or walk.
The program includes a holiday market featuring local artists and vendors and an afternoon of activities. The market and activities occur alongside the running event and aim to showcase neighborhood vendors.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Monte Vista Historical Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Sponsorship opportunities are available and are tax deductible. Funds raised support the association's work to foster a sense of community and address neighborhood issues such as city ordinances, ongoing development, and traffic concerns that affect local families. Sponsorship levels are listed on the event materials, and qualifying funds received by October 14 are included on printed collateral.
The event is based in San Antonio and lists a local address for the association. Photos from past events have been shared on social media. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
