Event details

The MuuvWell Hot Rod 24 Hour Ultra takes place Saturday–Sunday, September 26–27, 2026, at Bowling Green Hot Rods Stadium in Bowling Green, KY (300 E 8th Ave, 42101). The event program includes a 24-hour individual run, a 24-hour relay, a 12-hour daytime ultra, and a 12-hour night-time ultra. Packet pickup is available the day before the event (location TBD) and on race day at the start line.

Course and format

Runners cover as many laps as possible on a measured 0.31-mile loop that follows the perimeter of the concourse inside the baseball park. Participants may stop running, sleep, leave and return during the event. Relay teams consist of four people with no gender requirement; teams may split laps at their discretion. Pacing of relay runners is not allowed except when an entire team chooses to run a final lap together.

Awards, swag and amenities

All entrants receive a Hot Rod Ultra race T-shirt and a custom finisher medal. Any 24-hour runner who reaches or exceeds 100 miles receives a custom belt buckle. Overall male and female winners of the 24-hour run receive prize money tied to the number of miles completed; a top-runner plaque is awarded for the 24-hour, 24-hour relay, and 12-hour events. A fully stocked aid station operates throughout the event with snacks, water, soda, sports drink, and rotating hot food items. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
