Event overview
The MuuvWell Hot Rod 24 Hour Ultra will take place Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Bowling Green Hot Rods Stadium in Bowling Green, KY (300 E 8th Ave, 42101). The event includes a 24-hour individual ultra, a 24-hour relay, a 12-hour ultra, and a 12-hour night-time ultra. Runners have up to 24 hours to complete as many laps as they can on the course.
Course, rules and services
The course is a loop of 0.31 miles that follows the perimeter of the concourse inside the baseball park. Runners may stop, sleep, leave and return as they wish during the event. Relay teams consist of four people with no gender requirement; team members may divide laps at their discretion. Pacing of relay runners is not allowed, except if the entire team runs a final lap together.
Packet pickup is scheduled for September 25, 2026 (location to be determined) and also will be available on race day at the start line.
The event provides a fully stocked aid station for runners for the full duration of the race. Offerings mentioned include coffee in the morning, assorted hot foods at different times (burgers, hot dogs, pancakes, donuts, bacon, quesadillas, pizza), general snacks, water, soda and sports drink. Participant items include a race T-shirt and a custom finisher medal; runners who reach at least 100 miles in the 24-hour event receive a belt buckle.
