US Road Running - Bowling Green
The US Road Running event in Bowling Green, Kentucky, takes place at 9222 Nashville Road. This race series is part of a national points race and is open to all runners. Participants must complete their registration through RunSignup prior to the event, as there is no registration available on the day of the race.
The competition features three distinct distances hosted on a gravel surface:
- 5K: An out-and-back route measuring 1.56 miles, completed two times.
- 10K: An out-and-back route measuring 1.56 miles, completed four times.
- Half Marathon: An out-and-back route measuring 2.18 miles, completed six times.
The event has a total course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes. All participants receive a finisher medal after crossing the finish line. Additionally, runners have the opportunity to participate in a costume competition, which is judged prior to the start of the race.
