Must-Dash Family Fun/Run 5K : Santa Maria, CA
The City of Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department, Central Coast Running Club and People for Leisure and Youth, Inc. (PLAY, Inc.) present the Must-Dash Family 5K at Hagerman Sports Complex. The event features a loop course that follows the Multi-Purpose Trail off Skyway Drive and Broadway and benefits PLAY, Inc.
The program includes a family 5K plus short youth events for very young children. Participants include runners, walkers, families and people using strollers. Strollers are welcome and children riding in a stroller are free with a paid adult; a separate registration for the child in a stroller is not required. Leashed dogs are permitted on the course.
In connection with Father’s Day, participants are invited to show spirit by wearing a mustache, real or fake, and groups are encouraged to include father figures such as dads, guardians, grandparents, mentors or coaches.
Event pricing includes paid categories for youth and adult participants and free diaper dash entries for infants and toddlers. The location is Hagerman Sports Complex, 3300 Skyway Drive, Santa Maria, CA 93455.
