Music City July 4th 5K
The Music City July 4th 5K takes place on July 4, 2026, at Centennial Park, 2500 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN. The event is organized by Run Nash and features a traditional run/walk that starts and finishes at Centennial Park. Distances offered include:
- 5K
- Little Firecrackers Fun Run - free, for ages 5 and under
Registration fees vary by date, with listed prices ranging from $25 to $65. A Doggie Dash add-on is available so participants can run with a dog; dogs receive a medal, bib, and doggie bandana. The 5K has a course time limit of 1 hour. Restrooms and first aid are located at the start/finish area.
Logistics and awards
Packet pickup is available before race day:
- Wednesday, July 2: DICK’s Sporting Goods – Mt. Juliet, 401 S Mt Juliet Rd #605, Mt. Juliet, TN (3:00 PM to 7:00 PM)
- Thursday, July 3: DICK’s Sporting Goods – Nashville West, 6812 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN (11:00 AM to 4:00 PM)
A family member or friend may pick up a packet with the participant’s confirmation email and a copy of valid ID; additional pickup is limited to one person. Parking is available around the park and in nearby public and private lots; these lots are unattended and assume responsibility for vehicles. Road closures and parking access may be restricted on race day.
Awards are given to overall top three males and females and to age categories (Youth 14-18; Masters 40-49; Grandmasters 50-59; Seniors 60-69; Grand Seniors 70+). Awards must be claimed at the timing tent; there is no awards ceremony and awards will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
