Music City July 4th 5K
The Music City July 4th event is a community run and walk with routes based at Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Distances include:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Kids Run for ages 5 and under
All paid participants in the 5K and 1 Mile receive a finisher's medal and a participant shirt. A Doggie Dash add on is available so dogs can run with their owners; dog registrations receive a bib, medal, and bandana. Packet pickup is offered before the event and race day packet pickup is also available.
Registration is non refundable and cannot be deferred. Transfers between distances are allowed; transfers to another individual carry a small fee and any price difference between distances will be charged. The 5K course has a one hour time limit.
Facilities noted for the event include restrooms and first aid located at the start and finish area. Parking is available around Centennial Park and in nearby public or private lots; these lots are unattended and vehicle security is the responsibility of the parker. Award categories include overall and age group awards with top three male and female finishers recognized in multiple age divisions. The event lists support for USO Fort Campbell.
