Music City July 4th 5K is a community run/walk held on July 4, 2026 in Centennial Park, Nashville, TN. The main distance is 5K and the event starts and finishes at Centennial Park (2500 West End Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203). Registration for the 5K is listed at $60. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Every registered participant receives a custom finisher’s medal, a commemorative race item, and a complimentary t-shirt. The event offers a Doggie Dash add-on so dogs can receive a medal, bib, and bandana.
Logistics and services
Packet pickup is available before race day: Wednesday, July 2, 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at DICK’s Sporting Goods - Mt. Juliet (401 S Mt Juliet Rd #605, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122), and Thursday, July 3, 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at DICK’s Sporting Goods - Nashville West (6812 Charlotte Pike, Nashville, TN 37209). A friend may pick up a packet with the participant’s confirmation email and a copy of valid photo ID; additional pickup is limited to one friend. The course has a 1-hour time limit. Restrooms and first aid are located at the start/finish area. Parking is available around the park and in other public and private lots; some lots are unattended. Road closures will be in effect beginning at 6:45 AM and continuing through 8:30 AM, and the course may be rerouted at the discretion of city authorities.
