Muncaster Luck (50th Birthday)

Muncaster Luck is a fell race in the Lake District, England, with the start location at Muncaster Castle car park, CA18 1RD (grid ref SD097966). The course is approximately 15 km (9.3 miles) with about 620 m of climb. The event has a minimum age of 18.

Entry is on the day only; pre-entry is not available. Entry on the day fee is £5 and payment is cash only. Teams are permitted, with three to count.

The race holds a permit and associated UK Athletics insurance from the FRA. The current course differs slightly from the historical route. Although the route is not on the high fells, navigation may be required and the terrain can be rough. A 60 minute time cut-off is in place at the first river Esk crossing.
