Multi Grouse Grind Challenge 2026
The Multi Grouse Grind Challenge 2026 takes place at Grouse Mountain, North Vancouver, on June 22, 2026, as part of the mountain's centennial edition. It is a one-day endurance event in which participants complete as many ascents of the Grouse Grind trail as they can during official event hours.
The event raises funds for North Shore Rescue. Each participant must meet a fundraising minimum of CA$150 by June 11 to be eligible. A prize is planned for the top fundraiser. Registration is required for ascents to be officially recognized; this is the only sanctioned day to establish an official multi-ascent record. The previous record noted was 21 ascents.
Participant requirements and inclusions: entrants must be at least 16 years old; minors need a signed waiver and must be chaperoned by a legal guardian for the full duration. Each participant receives an event bib with an RFID race chip valid for multiple downloads, two multi-use mountain admission tickets for support persons, and access to aid stations. The event is cupless, so participants must carry a refillable hydration vessel; reusable SpeedCups are offered for purchase. Fees, donations, and store purchases are non-refundable and Grouse Mountain may reschedule activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
