Spring Hill Turkey Burn
Organized by Tennessee Children’s Home, the 10th Annual Spring Hill Turkey Burn takes place on November 28, 2026 at Spring Hill High School in Columbia, Tennessee. The event offers in-person and virtual race options to raise funds for the Middle Tennessee campus.

- 1K
- 5K (3.11 miles)
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual Half Marathon
The course starts and finishes at Spring Hill High School and runs through the hilly back roads of Maury County and Spring Hill. Surfaces include gravel, asphalt, and cement. The Half Marathon has a 3.5 hour time limit; course support will cease after that time. Participants are responsible for knowing the route.
Virtual entries are not timed and are not eligible for awards; virtual race packages will be mailed after the race date.
Awards and finishers: All Half Marathon and 5K participants receive finisher medals. Overall places are awarded for men and women 1st through 3rd, and Masters (age 40+) 1st through 3rd. Age group awards for male and female runners are given 1st through 3rd for groups from 10-14 up through 75+.
Rules notes: no dogs allowed; strollers are permitted for the 1K and 5K. A 15 minute per mile pace or faster is required for the 5K and Half Marathon to retain full course support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
