Mulberry Stampede 5K
The Mulberry Stampede 5K is scheduled for May 2, 2026, in North Wilkesboro, NC at Mulberry Elementary School (190 Mulberry School Rd, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659). This is the fourth annual running of the event.
Event details and logistics
The race will use chip timing and provide live results, with timing handled by Finish Line Pros. The Mulberry Fire Department and the NC Highway Patrol will close the right lane of HWY 18 up to the Mulberry Fire Department using cones, trucks, and patrol cars. Race day registration and packet pickup are planned for a morning window on race day (7:30am to 8:30am). Standard entry is listed at $30; the entry for ages 1 to 12 is listed at $20. Entry fees increase after April 2, 2026. Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after April 2; registrants after April 3 may not receive their first size choice. Pelicans will hand out free snowballs to children, and Fireside Espresso will offer coffee and drinks for purchase. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
