Muffins for Moms: Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk
Muffins for Moms takes place on May 10, 2026 at Good Pickin' Farm in Westford, Massachusetts. The event includes a community 5K run/walk and a separate 1K kids run for younger children. It is organized as a family-focused morning of activity and farm-based attractions.

- 1K Kids Run for children ages 10 and under
- 5K open run and walk
- 5K category for ages 15 and under
The 5K course follows farm lanes and trails, passing pastures and produce fields, a wooded farm trail, and 100-year-old apple trees before returning to the pavilion area. The finish area features muffins and other treats, and there are additional on-site activities such as a petting zoo, hayrides, lawn games, and a sandbox play area. A Children's Entrepreneur Market operates during the event.
All participating moms and grandmothers receive a package of treats and a flower. Registered runners and walkers receive a race t-shirt; shirts are guaranteed for 5K participants registered by midnight on May 5. Medals are awarded to top finishers in each age category and recipients must be present to receive awards.
For each participant a donation will be made to one of the listed charities: suicide prevention, Westford Remembers, first responder family events, or split evenly among them. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
