The Muffins for Moms: Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk takes place at Good Pickin' Farm in Westford. This community event is held on Mother's Day and offers various registration options for different age groups. Course Information
The 5K course is located entirely on the grounds of Good Pickin' Farm. The route includes various terrains and sights:
- 5K route through produce fields and wooded farm trails.
- 1K Kids Run specifically for participants aged 10 and under.
The path passes by farm animals including alpacas, sheep, goats, and bunnies, as well as 100-year-old apple trees. The race concludes at the farm pavilion.
Race Features and Amenities
All mothers and grandmothers who take part in the event receive a flower and a package of treats. Participants who register by the specified deadline in early May are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Following the completion of the 5K, an awards ceremony is held where medals are presented to top finishers in each age category.
The event also features several farm-based activities for families. These include a petting zoo, hayrides, lawn games, and live music.
