Mudskipper Canadian SwimRun Championships in Milton
The event takes place at Area 8 Conservation Area, 5437 Steeles Ave W, Milton, ON, on August 16, 2026. This is the second edition of the Mudskipper SwimRun organized by Canaqua Sports. The 20K distance is designated as the 2026 Mudskipper Canadian SwimRun Championship.
The program includes individual SwimRun races over 10K and 20K. The 10K course has three swim stages and three run stages, with an announced total of 2.1 km swimming and 7.9 km running. The championship format is two laps of the 10K course.
The Milton Open Water Swim uses a 1.5 km lap and offers these distances:
- 1.5K
- 3.0K
- 6K
The Milton Runs are new trail races with two options:
- 7.5K one lap
- 15K two laps
Onsite facilities include washrooms and food service. Swim caps are provided and must be worn for identification; a race number will be inked on each participant's upper back or shoulder. Wetsuits are optional for most events. Chip timing will be used for all races. There is no standard rain date; delays or cancellations would occur only for conditions such as lightning.
