Mudskipper Canadian SwimRun Championships at Milton
The event takes place on August 16, 2026 at Area 8 Conservation Area, 5437 Steeles Ave W, Milton, Ontario. This is the second edition of Mudskipper SwimRun in Milton and the 20K distance has been designated the 2026 Mudskipper Canadian SwimRun Championship. The venue combines the Area 8 quarry for swim sections and the Kelso Park trails for run sections.
Distances offered:
- Mudskipper SwimRun: 10K (one lap) and 20K (two laps)
- Milton Open Water Swim: 1.5K, 3.0K, 6K
- Milton Runs Trail: 7.5K and 15K
The 10K SwimRun course includes three swim stages and three run stages, totaling about 2.1 km of swimming and 7.9 km of running per lap. Swims use laps around the quarry; runs follow trails that include technical backwoods sections.
Event logistics: check-in is at the Canaqua Sports tent. Washrooms will be available and food will be provided. Swim caps are supplied and must be worn for identification; numbers will be inked on the upper back or shoulder. Chip timing is used for all events. There is no rain date; a delay or cancellation would occur only in the event of lightning. Wetsuits are optional for many events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
