Mudskipper Canadian SwimRun Championships and Milton Open Water Swim
This edition takes place on August 16, 2026, in Milton, Ontario, approximately half an hour west of Toronto. The event is held at the Area 8 Conservation Area.
Two types of events are offered.
Mudskipper Milton SwimRun This is the second edition of the event. It features individual 10 km and 20 km courses. The course alternates between swimming in the Area 8 Quarry and running on the trails of Kelso Park. The 20 km course serves as the Canadian SwimRun Championships course. The 10 km course consists of 3 swim segments (totalling 2.1 km) and 3 run segments (totalling 7.9 km).
Milton Open Water Swim This open water swimming event takes place in the Area 8 quarry. The offered distances are 1.5 km, 3.0 km, and 6 km. The water temperature is anticipated to be around 20°C. Swim caps are provided and must be worn.
The organizer notes that wetsuits are optional for these events. Chip timing is used. Washrooms and food will be available on-site. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
