Mudskipper Canadian SwimRun Championships : Milton
The event takes place on August 16, 2026 at Area 8 Conservation Area, 5437 Steeles Ave W, Milton, ON. It combines SwimRun races, open water swims, and trail runs around the quarry and in the backwoods of Kelso Park.
Event formats include:
- SwimRun: 10K individual (one lap) and 20K championship (two laps). The 10K course has three swim stages and three run stages, approximately 2.1 km swimming and 7.9 km running.
- Open water swim distances: 1.5K, 3.0K, and 6K on a 1.5K loop.
- Trail runs: 7.5K (one lap) and 15K (two laps) starting near the quarry and continuing into Kelso Park.
Practical race details provided by the organizer: swim caps will be supplied and must be worn for identification; a number will be inked on each participant’s upper back or shoulder; chip timing is used for all events. Washrooms and food will be available on site. A water station will be located at the start/finish area for the trail runs. Wetsuits are optional for most events. Races may be delayed or cancelled only in the event of lightning; there is no scheduled rain date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
